Assistant Maintenance Director (Sign-On Bonus)

Job Type:

Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly), Sign-on bonus with contract

Job Hours:

Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. On-Call/Call-Back. Hours may vary with season.

Job Relationships:

Responsible to: Facilities Operations Director

Supervises: None

Interrelationships: Works cooperatively with all AHC departments and Medical Staff to ensure efficient plant operations. Works cooperatively with the City and County personnel for utility operations and works in conjunction with vendors of mechanical equipment within the facility.

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of skilled and preventative routine maintenance duties. Ensure checklists are completed to meet state and regulatory standards. Requires the ability to troubleshoot equipment and experience in plumbing and electrical. Proficient with maintenance tools and equipment. 

Job Qualifications:

Experience:

• • • • • • 1-3 years of experience preferred.

Education:

• • • • • • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certificates and Licenses:

Possess a Driver’s License valid in the State of Kansas and an acceptable driving record at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
