Casandra Butler graduated from KU School of Medicine in 2007 and completed her internal medicine residency through KU School of Medicine – Wichita in 2010. She practices full time as a hospitalist in Andover, KS and also serves as a medical director for a local hospice company. She grew up in Plains, KS and enjoys coming back to Western Kansas to help provide medical services.

She will be sharing chief medical officer duties with Dr. Shuman at Ashland Health Care Center. She lives full time in Wichita, KS with her husband and two kids, ages 8 and 11, and their two new Golden Doodle puppies. She loves to travel with friends and family, including adventurous activities such as SCUBA, hiking, and camping. She loves watching KU and WSU basketball. She is excited to be joining the Ashland Health Care Team.
