Daniel Shuman D.O.
Dr. Shuman is a board certified Family Medicine physician who sees patients of all ages. After graduating from Baylor University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Gerontology, Dr. Shuman attended Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, graduating in 1997, and completed his residency at Dewitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia in 2000.
Following residency, he served as a military physician for four years, including a one-year tour in Iraq. In 2004, Dr. Shuman accepted a Family Physician and Clinical Director position at Molokai Community Health Center in Kaunakakai, Hawaii.
Dr. Shuman joined Ashland Health Center in 2011 from Scott and White Clinic in Georgetown, Texas, where he served a wide range of patients from birth to senior adults and was a physician champion and trainer for the implementation of a new electronic health record system across the Scott and White system. He has a wife, Meredith, and five children, Griffin, Jordan, Leidi, Andrea, and Monica.
