    o The date and time of your healthcare appointment

  • Non-emergency medical transport
  • Limited to 125-miles for 21 years of age or older
  • Limited 250-miles for 20 years of age or younger
  • Longer Trips can be pre-approved if needed, ask when you call
    ❖ Call and ask if your insurance provider is accepted as some other insurance other than Medicaid is accepted!
    ❖ They are hiring transport drivers

  • Patients need to make sure their policy has transportation coverage. Call the number on the back of the card to ask the representative.
  • Limited to 125-mile extension one way.
  • Longer Trips can be pre-approved if needed, ask when you call.
  • Children who are under age 17 must have an adult ride with them.

Southwest Kansas Area Agency on Aging  Call: 620-225-8230 and ask for “Regional Transportation”

  • Minimum 48-hour notification
  • For 60 years of age and older
  • For medical appointments only
  • It must be within a 6-hour radius from SWKAAA Dodge City office.
  • Must be able to transfer self into vehicle
  • No insurance needed.

    • Barber, Barton, Clark, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman, Pawnee, Pratt, Rush, Comanche, Edwards, Kearny, Kiowa, Scott, Seward, Finney, Lane, Stafford, Ford, Meade, Stanton, Grant, Morton, Stevens, Greely, Gray, Ness, and Wichita.
    • They are looking for volunteers and transport drivers, call and ask for more information!
