Linda grew up on a farm and ranch in South Dakota, where she developed the strong work ethic, values, and sense of community that continues to guide her today. She moved to Dodge City, Kansas, in 1988 and has proudly called Kansas home ever since. Linda and her husband, Marvin, reside in Minneola, they have four children and two grandchildren.
Linda began her nursing career after graduating from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, in 1986. Throughout her nearly 40-year nursing career, she has cared for patients in a variety of settings including the emergency department and intensive care unit, as well as serving as a flight nurse with Wesley Medical Center’s LifeWATCH program and a short period with Eagle Med. She later transitioned into nursing administration, spending many years at Minneola Healthcare in positions including Director of Nursing, Nursing Education Coordinator, and Risk/Quality Manager.
Linda’s commitment to lifelong learning and professional development led her to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2026, fulfilling her longstanding goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She believes that healthcare is most effective when providers take the time to listen, educate, and partner with patients in their care. She is passionate about caring for individuals and families of all ages, promoting preventive health, managing chronic conditions, and helping patients achieve their best possible quality of life.
Linda is excited to join the team at Ashland Health Center and begin this new chapter in her career. She looks forward to serving the Ashland community and surrounding areas, building lasting relationships with her patients, and providing personalized care close to home. She looks forward to caring for patients across the lifespan and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those she serves.
