Tamara Shaw graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Wichita State University with a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She has over 20 years experience in a variety of settings including primary care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and hospice. A lifelong Kansas native, Tamara enjoys the people and atmosphere in small rural communities and is excited to be working for such a great hospital with AHC!

You will often find Tamara and her husband John exercising, hiking, or walking their rescue dogs. They share four grown human children as well as three dogs and two cats.
