Parking

Please check the map for patient and visitor parking spots. For emergencies, parking is available on the north side of the hospital near the ER entrance.

Visiting Times and Entrances

Our Main Entrance is open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. If you are visiting after hours or on weekends, please enter through our Emergency Walk-in Entrance at the back of the hospital. The Emergency Walk-in Entrance can also be used for visitation to Acute/Skilled-Swing Bed patients. Visitors for Senior Living patients should enter through the Senior Living Entrance on the south side of the facility.

Waiting Areas & Internet Access

Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in the Main Lobby, ER and outpatient departments. Access to the internet is available by connecting to guest wifi.

Dining

Our hospital cafeteria has high quality food and many options including salad bar and hot food box. Located at the hospital side and open to visitors for breakfast 8:00 am – 9:00 am, lunch 12:00 am – 1:00 pm and super 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. There are also few restaurants in the area, including Sam’s Pizza Barn and Cups & Mugs.

Tobacco Use

Ashland Health Center is a tobacco free medical campus. The use of all tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is prohibited in any part of the facility.

Infection Prevention

Generally, visitors should be free from symptoms of communicable diseases such as colds, flu, and skin infections. Examples of these symptoms include cough, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and draining skin lesions. Children who have been exposed to a communicable disease or who are obviously ill are not permitted on the nursing units. Good hand washing is important for visitors as well as staff. Visitors may be asked to leave at any time at the medical or nursing staff’s discretion.

Food, Flowers, and Gifts for Patients

Visitors should check at the nurses’ station before bringing flowers, gifts, food, or drink to patients. Many patients have food restrictions or allergies.

Tornado Shelters

If you are in the building during a TORNADO Warning, take shelter immediately at the Hospital Dining Shelter or Senior Living Spa.
